چکیده
ABSTRACT Magnetars are a promising candidate for the origin of fast radio bursts (FRBs). The detection an extremely luminous burst from Galactic magnetar SGR J1935+2154 on 2020 April 28 added credence to this hypothesis. We report simultaneous and non-simultaneous observing campaigns using Arecibo, Effelsberg, LOFAR, MeerKAT, MK2, Northern Cross telescopes MeerLICHT optical telescope in days months after event. did not detect any significant single pulses down fluence limits between 25 mJy ms 18 Jy ms. Some epochs overlapped with times when X-ray were detected. Radio images made 4 d MeerKAT revealed no point-like persistent or transient emission at location magnetar. No was detected over seven days. Using multicolour combined relations DM, NH, reddening, we constrain distance J1935+2154, be 1.5 6.5 kpc. upper limit is consistent some other indicators suggests that closer two orders magnitude less energetic than least FRBs. lack single-pulse detections shows range fluences either rare, highly clustered, both. It may also indicate lies somewhere being radio-quiet radio-loud terms its ability produce efficiently.

Zeeman Observations of W Sgr*
A new precise method for measuring magnetic fields on Zeeman plates of the southern cepheid W Sgr is reviewed. Ten plates over the 7_6 period of pulsation show two extrema in the measured values of the effective magnetic field. The method has a precision of ±0.4_ in the Zeeman shift corresponding to ±50 gauss (g). A negative "spike" of -220g occurred at the time of arrival of the compressional ...
متن کاملClusters of Galaxies: Multifrequency Observations versus Theories
Clusters of galaxies are large gravitationally bound systems which consist of several observable components: hundreds of galaxies, hot gas between the galaxies and sometimes relativistic particles. These components are emitting in different wavelengths from radio to X-rays. We show that the combination of observations at different frequencies and also theoretical models is giving now a comprehe...

Your thesaurus codes are: missing; you have not inserted them ASTRONOMY AND ASTROPHYSICS Abstract. We have observed with the BeppoSAX satellite the quiescent counterpart of the Soft Gamma-ray Repeater SGR 1806–20. Observations performed in October 1998 and in March 1999 showed that this pulsar continued its long term spin-down trend at an average rate of ∼8 10 −11 s s −1 while its flux and spec...
متن کاملGMRT Observations of Microquasar V4641 Sgr
We report the GMRT observations of V4641 Sgr during the May 2002 outburst at radio frequencies of 610 and 244 MHz. This is the lowest frequency radio detection of this source. The present low frequency radio observations clearly showed spectral evolution from the optically thick to thin state. This behavior is broadly consistent with the expanding bubble model. However, the flux densities obser...
متن کاملVLA multifrequency observations of RS CVn binaries
We present multiepoch Very Large Array (VLA) observations at 1.4 GHz, 4.9 GHz, 8.5 GHz and 14.9 GHz for a sample of eight RS CVn binary systems. Circular polarization measurements of these systems are also reported. Most of the fluxes observed are consistent with incoherent emission from mildly relativistic electrons. Several systems show an increase of the degree of circular polarization with ...
